When you are an independent author, every dollar counts. You don't have the backing of a publishing house to cover the costs of things like editing, cover design, or promotion. However, if you care about your craft, you know that a well-edited manuscript is worth the investment. Quality editing takes time and training and therefore has value. I try to balance the value of my services with the restrictions I know independent authors have when it comes to spending before their books even come out.
I offer two kinds of services. Editing and Proofreading is exactly what it says. I'll look for and mark errors, typos, and places where your prose is unclear. Editing and Rewrites includes everything
